The Albany Law School Alumni in Residence honor is bestowed to an alum/alumna by the Dean as a recognition of the influence and impact that person has on a sector within the legal profession. Inaugurated in 1992, the program brings an alum/alumna back to campus to share their story and expertise with current students, faculty, staff, and other alumni. This year, Albany Law School welcomes back Damien Granderson, Esq. ’03, as the 2022 Alumni in Residence. Damien Granderson, Esq. ’03 has represented some of music and entertainment’s biggest stars and later this month he will share his insights with Albany Law School’s students. A founding partner at Granderson Des Rochers, LLP, Granderson has served as counsel and handled transactions for Nicki Minaj, Zendaya, A$AP Rocky, J. Cole, Wizkid, J. Balvin and other notable artists and entertainers.
