The Domenick L. Gabrielli National Family Law Competition was created to honor the late Associate Justice of the New York Court of Appeals. Albany Law School's Moot Court Board is especially indebted to Judge Gabrielli for his help in creating and promoting the Anthony V. Cardona '70 Moot Court Program. Schools from across the nation are invited to send participants. As the host of this event, Albany Law does not compete in this competition. The competition, which is an appellate advocacy competition, focuses on issues surrounding family law. Many volunteers are needed throughout the competition as judges and bailiffs. Volunteering for this competition is a great way to get involved and very much appreciated.
