Albany Law Review 15th Annual Chief Judge Lawrence H. Cooke Symposium On April 15, 2025, the Albany Law Review presented the 15th Annual Chief Judge Lawrence H. Cooke Symposium, titled “Criminal Justice on Trial: Failings, Possibilities, and Aspirations.” Panelists included: • The Honorable Rowan D. Wilson, Chief Judge of the State of New York • The Honorable Jonathan Lippman, former Chief Judge of the State of New York • Karol V. Mason, President of John Jay College of Criminal Justice • Annie Rody-Wright, Program Coordinator of the Criminal Justice Studies Interdisciplinary Program at Siena College The panel was moderated by Professor Vincent M. Bonventre, Jackson Distinguished Professor of Law, and Professor Dale Margolin Cecka, Assistant Professor of Law and Director of the Family Violence Litigation Clinic in the Edward P. Swyer Justice Center at Albany Law School. The program was co-sponsored by the Government Law Center at Albany Law School.
