About This Video

In the middle of July—on a rainy Saturday—I finally moved out of my old apartment and into my own space. It’s my first time living alone, and honestly, it was equal parts scary, exciting, and anxiety-inducing. I didn’t have a fridge, I didn’t have a washing machine yet, and because it was a Sunday in Germany, nothing was open—so I was just sitting there staring at boxes like… okay, now what. But it’s also something I’ve dreamed of since I was really young: having my own space to work as an artist, with a separate room where I can leave my work stuff in (even if my “journaling corner” temporarily lives in my bedroom). This vlog is basically a month of settling in, doing side quests around Berlin, and trying to keep up with deadlines—especially designing my sticker book. I take you with me to places like Müller (one of my favorite spots in Berlin for art and stationery supplies), browse sticker inspiration in-person because materials and finishes matter, and show you how I think about sticker book pages as a complete system you can use on their own—especially for A6 journals. In between, I’m carving out time for friends, cowork “sessions” that turn into yapping, and small, no-frills documentation like my Travelers Notebook spiral ring notebook filled with Instax photos. It’s a moving vlog, but it’s also a reminder to take things day by day—and to build a life that feels more “me.”
