I walk you through the full setup from the Claude homepage—no extra installs, no hidden toggles—because Projects live right inside the same workspace you already use. Once you click the Projects icon in the left sidebar, you’re basically in a command center for anything that needs structure, a clear goal, and a place you can come back to over time. I also cover the little workflow details that make Projects actually useful day-to-day, like using the search bar at the top to quickly find projects by name or keyword. My biggest tip here is to use consistent, descriptive names (topic, team, date—whatever helps) so future you can find things instantly. Then I create a new project and explain how to fill out the two key prompts: “What are you working on?” (clear title) and “What are you trying to achieve?” (outcome, audience, constraints like tone/format/timeline). When you hit create, Claude generates a focused project space with that context baked in, so your first drafts and plans start on a strong foundation.
