In this video I unbox the brand new reMarkable Paper Pro Move and give you my first hands-on impressions, plus a quick head-to-head against my full-size reMarkable Paper Pro. The big story here is the form factor: it’s basically last year’s Paper Pro, just shrunk down. It comes in at $449 USD (or $729 CAD), which is still pretty pricey, so I wanted to look at what you’re actually getting for the money—materials, accessories, and the day-to-day writing/reading experience. Once it’s set up, I test syncing my existing Paper Pro documents over and talk about how notes scale to the smaller screen. For reading, it’s surprisingly easy because the content ends up more flush to the margins, but templates are where things get a bit weird—some of the Methods templates look tiny unless you rotate the device. I also cover the marker situation (the charging markers are interchangeable between Paper Pro and Move), the included USB‑C cable and extra tips, and I unbox the new Book Folio case. My early take: it feels a little snappier than the Paper Pro, but it’s not truly pocketable, the back material feels cheaper, and you lose the proprietary accessory connector—so don’t expect a Type Folio keyboard case here.
