In this video I’m talking about some pretty interesting news from PLAUD AI: the brand new PLAUD Note Pro. Even though it’s not fully out yet, I’m just going to say it the way I said it in the preview—if you’re already considering a PLAUD Note, this Pro version looks like a worthwhile buy. I’ve been using the original PLAUD Note almost every single day for my day job, freelance client work, and even brainstorming video ideas, because the summaries, mind mapping, and the ability to prompt/recall recordings later are genuinely clutch for my workflow. The big upgrades on the Note Pro are practical and very “pro user” focused. You get a front screen (recording status, time, waveform), which solves that annoying “did I stop recording?” problem I run into with the tiny light on the original. The Pro also jumps to four MEMS mics (vs two), adds noise isolation to hone in on the speaker, and introduces new companion app inputs so you can mix text and images into live transcription. On top of that, there are 3,000+ summary templates, multi-dimensional summaries for more context, collaboration/workflow improvements, and an endurance mode up to 50 hours of continuous recording. And the reason I call it a no-brainer: it’s only about $20 more (at least at pre-order pricing). For the screen, better mic array, better capture distance, and all the extra AI features, that price gap is a slam dunk.
