I just got back from the media launch day of the 2026 Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, and if you’re planning to go this year, I wanted to share the exact booths and features I think are truly worth your time. The big theme at the show this year is very much F1, and you feel it immediately—especially at Audi House, where the star of the whole setup is their F1 car. You can get up close with it, and it looks absolutely incredible. BMW’s floor is also back in a familiar way, with a similar layout to last year but with a couple new EV models mixed in. From there, I’d make a beeline for a few “can’t miss” stops: the LEGO feature (this year it’s a pink Cadillac build that debuted at the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix), the Cadillac booth with their first-ever F1 car on display (plus the Celestiq concept car), and the FAF Automotive feature right as you enter the North Building—where you’ll see a stunning purple Pagani Utopia and an equally wild McLaren display, including the McLaren W1. And every year, Grand Tour Automobiles brings the heat with an ultra-luxury lineup—this time featuring the Aston Martin Valhalla, Koenigsegg Jesko, and a one-of-one Bugatti in a crazy finish. Beyond my highlights, there’s still a ton to explore: Mercedes with world-first EVs, classics, AutoStrada’s rare cars, Lotus (the Emira looks so good), and pretty much every major brand you can think of.
