The vibe of the song feels like a push to move forward — “if you change your mind, you can change your entire life” and “every day is a chance to be better.” That message fits perfectly with how I approach drumming: keep going, keep improving, and don’t waste time because “you will not be here forever.” Like all my covers/playthroughs, this is recorded in one take on the drumless track, with RAW audio (no samples, no quantizing, no editing — just mixing). I’m using my Mapex Armory Black Dawn Studioease double bass setup with Bosphorus cymbals, and I keep the video straightforward because the whole point is to show the actual performance. The takeaway is simple: stay “ready to fly,” keep your mind set free, and put the work in — that’s the reason to believe.
