Canals is getting pulled from the ranked map pool, and I’m not gonna lie—this one’s for all the absolute chaos that map created. I’m talking the classic “top green” rushes where everyone’s screaming callouts, somebody gets deleted instantly, and we’re all just trying to figure out how the dude made it up main for free. I also had to pay respects to the goofy-but-deadly Castle scuba/desk setups that somehow work way more than they should, plus all the little ranked moments that make Siege feel like Siege. I also react to what we’re getting instead—Emerald Plains, Favela, and Stadium Bravo—and I want to know if you’re hyped or if you’re fully upsetty spaghetti about it. Throughout the matches I’m calling plants way too early (running joke in my stack), trying to play the “flood site” style when things get weird, and dealing with the usual Siege nonsense: disconnects, bad timings, shields getting bonked, and teammates doing something completely different in their own universe. Takeaway: if Canals is leaving, you better get your last green rushes in now—and start prepping your ranked strats for the new pool before it farms your elo.
