I’m trying to get the Taro Elite and hit that Fruit Ninja animation in a Jackal clip, but I also decided to make my life harder by running a magnesium mouse on a glass mouse pad with a gaming sleeve. It felt impossible at first—like my hand’s on a choke hold, circulation getting cut off, holes in my sleeve and chest, the whole nine. I’m out here looking like I need to buy new clothing just to use a mouse pad, which is insane. On the Siege side, it’s classic ranked shenanigans: arguing about what is and isn’t a “strat” (corner Castle, corner Fuze… don’t call it a strat just because it worked once), getting slammed when the team doesn’t “play into the strat,” and me complaining about stuff that genuinely messes with gameplay—like Jackal’s visor being so purple I can’t see anything. There are big clutches, bad rounds, weird angles, and that moment where I’m convinced someone has owl hearing because they swing the exact millisecond a nade pin gets pulled. Takeaway: new gear can feel brutal at first, comms matter, and Siege will always find a way to humble you mid-Fruit Ninja grind.
