One thing you have to do when you’re in Taiwan is hit a night market, and in this video I’m taking you with me to the biggest one—Raohe Night Market. I’m not gonna lie, I was nervous because it’s huge and we’ve got a massive buggy, but the energy is unreal. As soon as we walked in, there was this super busy stall right at the entrance that’s actually on the Michelin Guide, so of course I had to try it first. It’s got this crispy base and it’s cooked in these little oven-style pods—honestly it tasted like a doughnut inside a bun. After that, we went straight into all the classic street food vibes: crispy pork belly (the way he sliced it so thin was right up my street), grilled king oyster mushrooms (I queued 15 minutes for these while juggling vlogging, TikTok, Reels—everything), and then the Taiwanese sausage wrapped in sticky rice. The mushroom texture threw me off a bit because it was salty but kinda slimy, but the sausage-in-rice situation was such an “only in Asia” moment—garlic, sweet sausage, and you literally push it up like a popsicle.
