About This Video

It’s Lunar New Year in Shanghai and Day 3 was honestly sensory overload in the best way—parades everywhere, street food everywhere, and me just spinning around like “where do I even look first?” We spotted this massive Lego dragon, then went straight into full food-hunt mode. I’m talking grilled chicken, mochi, oysters the size of my face, cuttlefish, octopus… if you love seafood, China has you covered because I’ve never seen so much seafood in my life. The mission of the day though? Finding the famous egg tarts. We were literally on the hunt for ages trying to find Lilian Bakery (even the bag is cute and cube-y), and I had to compare them to my all-time dream egg tarts from Bakehouse in Hong Kong. They were warm and really good—Hong Kong still beats it for me—but if these came out fresh from the oven, they could’ve taken number one. We also checked out the biggest Starbucks Reserve and the Louis Vuitton “ship” (it’s even bigger than you think). There were photographers with iPads telling you exactly how to pose, so yes… we did it—£1 photos for memories with Mason. And because mum-life doesn’t pause, I ended the day with the realest moment: breastfeeding in public… but make it fashion.
