My TRAUMATIC Birth Story.. Induction led to EMERGENCY C Section

I have watched so many birth story sit-down videos and I still can’t believe it is finally my turn to share mine. I imagined a calm, peaceful, natural birth. What actually happened was very different. My waters broke, I was induced, the contractions were intense, there were complications with the epidural, Mason’s heart rate dropped, and everything moved so quickly that I barely had time to process it before I was taken in for an emergency C-section. I’m sharing this story honestly, without sugarcoating, because it’s everything I wish I had known before giving birth. Not to frighten anyone, but to show the reality of how unpredictable birth can be, and how strong you are even when things don’t go to plan. Maison is my little Christmas miracle. Even though parts of this experience were traumatic to relive, I want him to grow up knowing his story, what it took to bring him into the world, and how deeply loved he is. If you are currently pregnant, please don’t let this scare you. Take this as one person’s experience.
