In this video I’m going through Mason’s baby clothes that he’s already outgrown, and honestly… I’m not okay. I’m picking up the tiny outfits that used to fit him—like the one we took him home in—and it instantly takes me back to those first days where I’d try to feed him and he’d just keep falling asleep. I’m flipping through memories of him sleeping like a little monkey, chilling while we organize the beauty room, and me just staring at him in that newborn bubble because he was so cute it didn’t feel real. I also share some of my favorite “firsts,” like his Christmas pudding outfit (how was he ever that small?) and the little moments where he was two weeks old, a “milk monster,” a cowboy, and even my little Pomelo boy. The biggest takeaway is: time goes way too fast, and these tiny clothes hold so much emotion. I’m left asking what I’m supposed to do with all of it now—and if it ever gets easier, because right now it really doesn’t feel normal to be this emotional over baby onesies.
