Warning: This video contains moderate language. On Monday, April 13, the Eanes History Group went off-site to explore one of the oldest business sites in this area. This special meeting was at the County Line on the Hill restaurant, 6500 Bee Cave Road. Jeffery Dochen will share stories of days when the site was the Moosehead Lodge (a speakeasy during prohibition ) and the Cedar Crest Lodge (a ’50s era club). Then County Line owner, Skeeter Miller, will trace the fascinating 50-year history of one of the most favored BBQ joints in town! Rex Hoover will moderate the program.
