This month at Eanes History Group, we were joined by author Jeff Abbott, who discussed his sources of inspiration and his process for fictionalizing Westlake and the greater Austin area in his standalone suspense novels, including Blame, Never Ask Me, The Three Beths, and An Ambush of Widows. Jeff Abbott is the New York Times bestselling, award-winning author of 23 novels. He is the winner of the International Thriller Writers Award for THE LAST MINUTE and a three-time nominee for the Mystery Writers of America’s Edgar Award. His novels have been Summer Reading Picks on The Today Show, Good Morning America, USA Today, and O the Oprah Magazine. His next novel, January and July, will be out July 7. He and his family have lived in the Westbank area for 22 years.
