As I continue to find budget options for my 2nd gen. Tacoma, this time, I try out new fender flares. You can find a set for this model of Tacoma for just over $100, but they are all for the long or 6-foot bed. If you have a double cab like me, your bed is most likely the short or 5-foot one. Are the wheel wells the same? Will this work? If you need the short answer, no they don't. There is enough difference along the front of the rear fender flares that they don't match up with the sheet metal. Watch the video to see what works and what doesn't. Sadly, for some odd reason, you can find decent long bed fender flares for about $100, but the same thing for the short bed will start at $270. Bummer.
