Using After Effects to put the deflector dish back on the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: A New Hope

Astute Star Wars fans probably realized long ago that the Millennium Falcon was missing its iconic radar or deflector dish when we first see it in A New Hope. In this tutorial, I show how to use camera tracking in After Effects along with some compositing techniques to put it back where it should be. This video is for educational purposes only under fair use and no copyright infringement is intended. I'm gonna hope that all the big corporations involved are cool with all this.
