In this After Effects tutorial, I demonstrate techniques inspired by one of my students. This one uses tracking tools and one of my favorite AE filters, CC Light Rays. Rather than just a basic tutorial, this one is a practical application of techniques to achieve a final effect. In this case, the idea was someone reaching up to grab the sun out of the sky. It's a pretty cool idea, but how would you do it? Watch and find out. For any copyright issues, I use a few seconds of Floating Dogs by Peter Gabriel at the beginning of the video. No copyright infringement is intended.
