I break down what we actually “know” so far: rumored release date of October 1st, 2025, and the idea that it’s specifically the Death Star II. There’s no piece count yet, but if you start doing rough math you could be looking at something massive—potentially in the 10,000-piece range, give or take. Minifigures are also a total toss-up, but at $1,000 I think LEGO would be dumb not to include a full interior, play/display functionality, and a solid minifigure lineup. I also compare it to the 2005 UCS Death Star II, which was basically just a display build with no minifigures—something I really don’t want repeated for a “big gray ball” at this price.
