What up guys—this car camping vlog is all about our weekend at Camp BOA in Tanay, and honestly, this one felt like a full redemption trip for the crew. We started by packing all the gear (shoutout to the Mammoth bed slide—loading and unloading is just way easier), then met up with Prince, JL, Viets, and the rest of the gang before heading out. Camp BOA sits between the mountains of Sierra Madre and the Latian River, and to get in, you’ll need to cross the river twice—so yeah, it can get tricky, especially if you’re 4x2 and it’s rainy season. On the first crossing, I went ahead to find a safe line since the riverbed changed a lot from the heavy rains. If you remember, JL got stuck here before trying to detour, so this time I guided everyone to a smoother exit with a gradual incline—no dramas, everyone made it across safe. Once we arrived, we set up camp and I did a quick setup tour: 270 freestanding awning, shower awning (because I’m too lazy to walk to the CR), lights, dual battery, and the whole mini-kitchen vibe. I also showed you why Riverside A is the best spot: tons of shade, solid gazebo per site, bonfire pit, and the nicest river access compared to the rocky side. Clean CR and shower area with good water pressure, chill river swims, a birthday cake surprise for Kim, and a proper bonfire night—easy one of the most relaxing camps we’ve had in Tanay.
