About This Video

What’s up guys—Oi here. In this video I tested one of the most loaded 3-channel dashcams right now, the Vantrue N4 Pro S, and I focused on the one thing I always care about with dashcams: can it actually capture license plates clearly, day and night. The big deal here is all three cameras use Sony STARVIS 2 sensors—not just the front—so you get better low light performance, improved HDR, and more usable footage across front, rear, and interior. I did a quick unboxing, showed what comes in the box, and talked about the install-friendly stuff I like, like the integrated third camera on the main unit (less wiring) and the IP67 waterproof rear cam that you can mount outside—perfect for pickups, SUVs, and overland builds. I also went through the key features: 4K front, 2K rear, 1080p interior with IR, PlatePix + HDR, built-in GPS, voice control, 5GHz Wi‑Fi, and up to 1TB microSD support. After running it on my truck, my main pros were the plate clarity and low light performance, plus the expandable accessories. My main cons were mount stability (some wobble on my diesel pickup at idle) and the parking mode behavior/UI, where you typically pick one primary mode—though it can still save event clips in actual use.
