All right, so in this video I’m literally heading out to go grab what I’m calling a deal of a lifetime. I’d been talking to this dude on OfferUp for like 2–3 days, and my usual protocol with apps like OfferUp/Craigslist is simple: I shoot a lowball first just to see how receptive they are, then we negotiate from there. This piece typically goes for like $250–$300, and in the condition he claimed? Probably well over $300. I threw out $70 (of course he said no), but we kept going back and forth until he finally accepted my offer. I pull up, I’m lowkey nervous because it feels too good to be true—like I’m gonna get home and it won’t even power on. But once I see it in person, I can tell he babied it. It’s basically pristine. And then the reveal: I picked up a Pro Channel Model 215 for $140. Back at the house I plug it in, we get power, the meter and VU meter are working, buttons light up, bypass works—everything looks functional.
