In this video, I’m sharing something that truly made my day as an ESL teacher working from home—a sweet gift from my German students, Bettina and Robert. I also reacted to their video message where they spoke in Tagalog (WOW!!!). As a Filipino teacher, hearing my students try my language was so touching, and I’m honestly so proud of both of them. Moments like this remind me why I love teaching online, especially as a full-time mom trying to earn from home. I also included a little fun at the start (Aqui’s joke), then I shared an inspiring quote from William Arthur Ward about teaching. To end the video, I shared a verse about teaching from Jesus Christ, my Savior, because my faith is a big part of how I stay encouraged in this journey.
