Hi my friend—this video is a real mom life chat from my Friday night, and I’m walking you through my Galentine’s with my girls. It was super intimate (only five of us), but it was so special. I’m sharing the gifts I received (not in a “perfect influencer haul” way… more like me yapping in my bathroom because the lighting is good). We had chicken wings and fried rice, laughed a ton, and I left feeling so loved—PJs and slippers, a cute vase set with self-care goodies, Prosecco and strawberries, kitchen towels, a pillow, shower steamers that smell amazing, a “Galentine’s gang” cup, a personalized keychain, an African net sponge, and even a new perfume mist and lip color. But what really mattered wasn’t the stuff—it was the friendship. I’m in a big transition from being a stay-at-home mom for 10 years to a working mom, and I’m learning that community is everything when life feels nonstop. I also share part of my devotion (“100 Days of Believing Bigger”) about disruption and how God moves us from “here” to “there.” I’m learning to show up imperfect, trust the shift, and believe that on the other side of discomfort is a stronger, freer version of me—one who’s secure, has boundaries, and can be a blessing to others.
