Hey friend—this is part two of my extreme basement clean & declutter, and we’re finally tackling the half that’s been our “put it down and deal with it later” space. I’m breaking the basement into four sections (because it’s a square), and in this video I focus on the next chunk—trash, random storage, dusty corners, and a whole lot of stuff that’s been sitting way too long. I set a 45-minute timer because I’m not spending my whole day in the basement. Small steps have big results, and busy moms don’t have five hours to do one room. I also share what’s been on my heart while I’m cleaning—stewarding what I already have, moving toward the miracles I’m praying for, and unlearning that “to be loved, I have to perform.” We go through a big book pile, choose what we’re keeping (about 20… don’t tell my husband), and I box up the rest to donate to free little libraries in our community. By the end, the space is cleared, the books are sorted, and I’m ready for part three—where we’ll tackle the hallway section next. Until next time, you got this, mama.
