In this video, I’m reacting to the idea of “Notion 2.0” and why, in practice, it doesn’t really feel like Notion anymore. The big takeaway is that the new wave of tools that look like Notion are starting to behave more like AI-first workspaces—closer to something like Claude Code in how they help you generate, structure, and iterate, rather than just being a flexible docs-and-databases app. I also zoom out and talk about how I think you should evaluate these tools: don’t get stuck on the branding or the UI similarities—focus on workflow fit. If you want a classic Notion-style system for notes, databases, and lightweight planning, Notion is still the baseline. But if you’re chasing faster outcomes with AI agents, automation, and “build it for me” features, you might actually want a different category of product altogether.
