So hi everybody—today I’m taking a look at a Roku channel/app that’s all about old-time TV. If you’re into classic shows and you want something you can turn on and just let it play, this one is called Throwback Television. It’s still being worked on, but it’s coming out really good, and they’re adding more and more shows on there every day. In the video I show you exactly how to get it: from the Roku home screen you go to Search, type in “Throwback Television,” install it, and then open the app. When it loads, it jumps right into playing a show, and the quality is actually really good. The main thing you need to know is there’s no working EPG yet—so whatever is on at that time is what is on. Hopefully down the line they add an EPG or set it up by genres so you can pick what you want to watch. And remember—anytime you’re streaming on any device, I always recommend using a VPN to protect yourself and mask your IP address.
