Stay protected online with 'The Ultimate Guide to Internet Security'! Safeguard your privacy and explore essential tips for a secure digital world. Hey guys, and welcome back! Cyber attacks are increasing by the day and we can’t expect them to decline in the near future. Your devices are constantly at risk of online threats, exploit attacks, network intrusion, etc. So, it’s extremely important to protect them from these attacks by using powerful web protection features. So, today, I’ll be talking about the best antivirus solutions out there that provide protection from attacks. I’ll be going over their features and pros and cons. So, by the time we’re done, you’ll know which one fits you the best. And, if you’re interested in checking out any of these antivirus solutions, click on the links in the description below to get a discount on your first-year subscription. And, by the way, you won’t find these deals by going directly to their websites. Alright then, let’s get into it! First up, we have the top choice for an antivirus: Norton 360. They offer an antivirus with excellent web protection and near flawless malware detection rates. Norton provides web protection with the Safe Web feature that prevents users from visiting phishing sites and detects online threats in real-time that might enter the device. It also highlights risky search results in red, preventing you from opening them. And, what I really like about them, is that they extend this feature to highlighting risky links in Twitter and Facebook feeds. Then, the Smart Firewall silently runs in the background and protects against network intrusion and unwanted communication. It also offers vulnerability assessment for the applications and operating systems, so you can fix the issues and avoid the system from getting exposed to online threats. Now, when it comes to a full system scan, it takes about 10-15 minutes and detects almost 100% of malware, which is truly impressive. And, when I say malware, it includes spyware, viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, and rootkits. Then, there are several additional features that Norton offers. There’s a VPN with unlimited data, a password manager, parental controls, system tune-up tools, webcam protection, identity theft protection with coverage of up to a million dollars, and a cloud backup of up to 250GB, depending on the plan. And, that brings me to their pricing plans that range from 20 to 100 dollars for the first year of subscription. While all their plans offer great protection, it’s the Norton Deluxe plan, which costs about $50, is their best value plan because it protects up to 5 devices and offers a clou d backup of 50GB, along with some additional features. Although they don’t have any free version, all their plans are backed by a generous 60-day money-back guarantee, so you can try them risk-free. Now, the next best antivirus on our list is McAfee. They offer a great antivirus that protects multiple devices for a great price with excellent web protection features and high malware detection rates. The WebAdvisor feature monitors all the websites that you visit, for phishing and exploit attacks and blocks the suspicious ones. In my tests, I found it to work better than the built-in web protections of Chrome and Firefox. However, since it’s only available for Windows and Macs, you won’t be able to protect your Android or iOS phones with WebAdvisor. But, McAfee’s firewall provides excellent security against network intrusions, unauthorized communication attempts, and exploit attacks. And, when it comes to malware detection, the full system scan detected 80-90% of malware in less than 25 minutes. Although it did take a bit longer than expected, as long as the threats are being handled, the time it takes is worthwhile. Okay, so to wrap things up, the best antivirus with ultimate online security is Norton 360. And if you want fast scans, TotalAV is the way to go. Then, McAfee is a great option for protecting multiple devices. And, Bitdefender is an affordable option that doesn’t compromise on quality. Alright, that’s it for today!
