As you know I recently moved into my new Art studio and am getting into the rhythm of a new time of my life. For me this means intentional, slow and creative days. Slow living to me doesn't signify passivity, on the contrary-- I am still focused on being productive and achieving my dreams, but I am finding joy in the process which puts an emphasis on the journey and not the final destination. The French know how to take their time with things and appreciate simple pleasures, and this is a lesson I have learned in my six years since I moved to Paris. I thought I would make these bilingual slow living in France vlogs a series on my channel (in only French) where I share with you this very special rhythm of living simply and intentionally. As a freelancer and Artist I have found I am living my dream life -- I feel so rich and it has nothing to do with money. I feel rich because I live life deeply in moments like these; painting by a sunny window, interesting conversations with friends, dancing around to good music. I feel rich when I eat a one euro croissant and spend the afternoon by the seine with a good book. I want to share these moments with you as well as my dreams and creative projects.
