A friend, a lover, a family member. Ultimately resulting in them becoming a ghost, an imaginary friend, a lost connection. The lyrics “i know that you’re there, but I can not feel you” is something I think we’ve all experienced, and this loss can be compared to watching a car lose control in slow motion (had to be a purple Cadillac ;). This song, which is in French and English, was also inspired by my instaplay project about breakups and so I asked Quentin Briere to come on to make it a duet with himself and I, and we coproduced it in his home studio. “Ami imaginaire” is also particularly close to my heart as it marks the new era in my musical project which links my online work (insta play, YouTube) to my sonic universe. I am really proud of what we made and I hope you’ll love it as much as I do so go give it a listen and let me know what you think ! 💥 Written by Purple Palace Composed & sang by Purple Palace & Quentin Briere Produced by Quentin Briere & Purple Palace Music video by Purple Palace
