As I finish up my poetry book illustrations I open up about some of my struggles as an Art student and the desire for a fresh start after some negative experiences this year. These last few months have been especially eye opening for me and full of big transitions. I think it’s important to trust your intuition and know when an environement is no longer serving you or your dreams. I believe we live in a supportive universe and everything is connected, so while one chapter ends another story is just beginning (everything in divine timing). I will still be going back for my diploma show to finish out my masters and receive my diploma (I have completed all of my credits thankfully) but for now, I feel it’s best to work on my Art elsewhere and focus on new beginnings. Lets eat pasta together and reflect upon all these things because, yes, our experiences are valid and we have the right to speak our truths and find community through them.
