Simone Handelman Duffy is an interdisciplinary bio-artist and writer whose work engages critical theory, media, and emerging technology. She is the recipient of the 2025 and 2026 Student Research Awards, a Eugene Lang Capstone Grant, and will be speaking at the forthcoming Dean’s Honor Symposium. She has worked as an Academic Fellow for "Introduction to Critical Theory", interns at the Museum of the Moving Image, and founded The Formal Analysis Circle, a registered student organization. Simone is earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design History and Practice from Parsons School of Design, as well as her Bachelor of Arts in Culture and Media from Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts.
