Generative AI is poised to reshape lighting design practice, but the specifics of this transformation are not yet clear. This program provides an opportunity for attendees, including those who are skeptical about AI use, to help define responsible standards for Artificial Intelligence use in lighting practice before these terms are determined by others. Starting with an introduction to the current and projected future of generative AI use in lighting design practice, followed by an interactive workshop, attendees will consider this major shift in processes and the accompanying ethical implications. This program is made possible through the generosity of Parsons Lighting Partners. Learn more about the Parsons School of Design: https://www.newschool.edu/parsons/ and
