The Metro Cycling Studio, a partnership between Brompton and Parsons' School of Constructed Environments, collaboratively seeks to explore the intersection of design, urban movement, public space, and cycling culture. Using New York City as a test location, students are challenged to think creatively about the intersection of the body, the bicycle, and metropolitan space in the design of a wide range of accessories and components that animate and intersect with the use of a Brompton bicycle. Aiming to design metro cycling culture accessories that align with and animate the principles of the circular economy and zero-waste systems of manufacturing, students had the valuable opportunity to apply their skills and creativity to engage in changing urban mobility systems. https://www.newschool.edu/parsons/ https://us.brompton.com/
