Multispecies Totem on Governors Island || Community Portraits

Eva Perez de Vega, Assistant Professor of Interior Design at Parsons, designed the multispecies totem with the goal of integrating native and migratory species, harnessing solar energy, and rainwater collection. The project is stackable, modular, and compostable structure that reflects the ways in which people can design for other species and prioritize climate conscious design.
