About This Video

In this video, I’m showing you how I’m getting back organized using only Apple Notes and the Reminders app—because right now I need minimal, effective systems that actually help me get the work done. Working from home with kids (and after a postpartum episode that really threw off my rhythm), I realized I needed something clean and simple. Notion has been feeling a little overwhelming for me lately, so I’m leaning into the Apple ecosystem to reduce the “too many moving parts” problem and just lock in. I start in Apple Notes by basically giving myself a clean slate: I tuck old notes into a catch-all folder so they’re not distracting, then build a simple folder structure (Work → Content Hub → YouTube/Short Form/Blog). From there, I create a reusable YouTube template note with sections like brain dump, research, script (hook/body/CTA), thumbnail ideas, title ideas, plus “the vibe” (hair/outfit) and shot style so filming days feel lighter. Then I move into Reminders and set up Kanban-style boards for sponsorship tracking and a production studio pipeline (ideas → research → scripting → filming → editing → approval → uploaded). Finally, I build a digital planner inside Reminders using sections for the month, the week, daily columns, and a future log—then save it as a template so I only have to set it up once. The goal is simple: calm structure, less friction, and a system I can actually maintain.
