Sunday Dinner: Easy Authentic Italian Red Pasta Sauce w Garlic Shrimp

Heyyyy just coming fresh from Italy and wanted to recreate one of the meals I had during our wine tasting. The pasta is straight from Italy but honestly any thick long pasta will work. I made the sauce from scratch. All the ingredients can be bought from Whole Foods. However the Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil I got from Aldi's. ------------------------------- Recipe shown in todays vlog: Ingredients: 1 small sweet Onion chopped Half cup sliced mushrooms 4 Campari Tomatoes 32 oz crushed tomatoes Table spoon Tomato Paste 3-6 Tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil Truffle Oil 2 tsp salt 1/2 tablespoon white pepper 10 garlic cloves chopped 1/2 lb or more shrimp Instructions: Season for the shrimp: 1 tsp red pepper flakes 1 tsp basil leaves 1 tsp sweet paprika 1 tsp white pepper 1 tsp roasted garlic 2 tsp onion graduates 1 tablespoon lemon olive oil Add all the ingredients and set aside Once ready to cook. Coat pan with extra virgin olive Pasta Sauce: Cover the pot with Extra Virgin Olive Oil on medium heat Add half chopped onions, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp basil, 1 tsp oregano & tsp red pepper flakes cook until translucent Add roughly 5 gloves of minced garlic to pan followed by 2-3 tsp truffle olive oil. Cook 1-2 mins Add the sliced mushrooms followed with 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp white pepper. Add 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil followed by the fresh tomatoes, cook for 2-3 mines then add the tomato paste, 2 tsp cumin and crushed tomatoes Place on low heat and simmer for 13-20 mins.
