I’m still on step one. And for the first time… I’m not frustrated about it. In this video, I’m continuing the process of moving all of my yarn from my home to my yarn studio (aka my “yarn house”) — and even though I’m not finished yet, something has shifted. Instead of fighting my brain, I’m learning to work with it. We talk about: - Breaking big organizing projects into smaller steps - Executive function and overwhelm - Why “still on step one” doesn’t mean failure - Celebrating small wins (like just getting the yarn into the car!) - Letting life happen while progress is happening You’ll also see some sweet real-life moments with my granddaughter — because even while we’re untangling yarn, life keeps moving. If you’ve ever felt behind… If you’ve ever been stuck on step one… If you’ve ever felt frustrated with your own brain… You are not alone. Untangling the yarn… is untangling life. One small stitch is still a stitch. 💛 If this feels familiar, you’re in the right place. Subscribe if you want to untangle with me. About This Video

I’m still on step one of moving my entire yarn stash from my home to my yarn studio (my little “yarn house”)—and this time, I’m not frustrated about it. In this video I talk through what’s changed for me: I’m not trying to force my brain to power through a giant, overwhelming project anymore. I’m learning to work with it. That means I’m breaking the move into smaller, actually-doable steps and letting “progress” count even when it looks tiny from the outside. We get real about executive function, overwhelm, and that sneaky feeling that being “stuck on step one” must mean you’re failing. For me, it doesn’t. Sometimes the win is simply getting yarn into the car. Sometimes the win is touching the project at all and not spiraling. And while I’m untangling yarn, life is still happening—sweet moments with my granddaughter included—so I’m practicing letting both be true: real life can keep moving while progress is happening. One small stitch is still a stitch, and if you’ve been there, you’re not alone.
