The Google Cloud Next 2025 conference, held from April 9-11, 2025, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, featured a security demo presented by Nav Jaypal and Payal Chavravarty. #cloudcomputing #googlecloudnext #artificalintelligence Payal Chavravarty led the demonstration showcasing the platform's autonomous, agentic features, particularly: Alert Triage Agent: Designed to continuously investigate alerts, decide what needs human attention, and automatically respond, reducing the workload of security analysts. Malware Analysis Agent: Focused on providing malware analysis to determine code safety, enabling greater automation for security activities. The demo included live examples, such as detecting vulnerabilities in code and extensions. For instance, in a live demonstration, Chavravarty showed how Google Unified Security detected a data leak from a developer using a public AI model via a Chrome extension, automatically quarantined the extension, updated the company-wide Chrome policy, and correlated the incident with additional risks involving a misconfigured virtual machine.
