The best way I can describe it is a next‑gen desktop control terminal—a desk companion that handles small, frequent actions so your main monitor stays focused. It’s not a notification screen, and it’s not trying to replace your primary display. Quake sits in front of your keyboard like a mini ultrawide, connects over HDMI + USB‑C, and blends touch, a physical rotary knob, and voice in a way that actually reduces friction once you build the muscle memory. I go through the hardware feel (CNC aluminum, matte anodized finish, ~800g weight, adjustable 0–60° angle) and the 8.88-inch 1920x480 ultrawide IPS panel. It’s not about “wow” color—it's about being readable all day with quick, accurate touch. The knob is a highlight: infinite rotation, push button, and an RGB ring that gives real status feedback (recording, translation, AI listening). The standout feature is the AI meeting assistant: one-tap system-level mute, one-tap recording, live captions and real-time translation (17 languages), and fast AI summaries with marked key moments. Add in system monitoring, music controls, and voice-generated shortcut layouts (like “generate 15 shortcuts for Photoshop”), and Quake ends up feeling like part of the desk—not an accessory you forget after a week.
