If you’re tired of flat TV audio where dialogue gets lost and action scenes don’t hit, in this video I tested the Ultimea Skywave X50 to see if it actually fixes those problems without overdoing it. It’s a full 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos setup (not a “single bar pretending to do surround”), with an 8-inch subwoofer and two rear surrounds. I also go over the design and build—simple, modern, nothing flashy—but it still gives off a premium vibe, and I like that the bar comes in three connectable pieces so you can size it to your space. I break down the setup and connections (HDMI eARC, extra HDMI input, optical, USB, Bluetooth 5.4) and how it behaves day-to-day. With eARC hooked up, it’s the kind of system that just works—smooth switching between TV apps/inputs, 4K pass-through for external devices, and a tidy setup you don’t have to babysit. For sound, the up-firing drivers add real height, the rear speakers give that wrap-around feel, and the dual 5 GHz wireless stays in sync with low latency. The sub digs deep (down around 28 Hz) but stays tight and controlled, and even at higher volume (up to 760W peak / 100 dB max SPL), it stays clear rather than harsh.
