If you’ve got a MacBook and a desktop living on the same desk, you already know the pain: two monitors, one keyboard/mouse, and way too much cable swapping (or just constant mental friction). The big promise is dual extended monitors on macOS without DisplayLink, without drivers, and without background software, and in real use it actually behaves like a native display connection. I also go through the real desk experience: the box feels solid, the top button has a clean click, heat stays controlled even with dual monitors and Ethernet, and the port layout is practical—dual HDMI up to 4K 60Hz, multiple USB ports including 10Gbps for SSDs, SD card, Ethernet, and audio. The switching stability is the part that matters day-to-day: with EDID emulation, my windows stayed where I left them, no resolution resets, and switching is a quick dark-screen moment instead of a full reconnection mess.
