In this video, I show you the exact updated way to find your archived photos on Instagram, because Instagram keeps moving this option and a lot of people think their posts are “gone.” I walk you step-by-step: open your profile, tap the three lines (menu), then go into “Your Activity” and open “Archive” (sometimes you’ll see the Archive/clock icon directly). From there, you can switch between Posts Archive, Stories Archive, and Live Archive using the dropdown at the top. I also explain why I personally recommend archiving instead of deleting. When you archive, your likes and comments stay safe, and you can bring the post back anytime by tapping the post, hitting the three dots, and choosing “Show on Profile.” Plus, Stories Archive matters if you want to make Highlights later—your “Save to Archive” setting needs to be enabled. If you can’t see Archive at all, I cover the quick fix: update Instagram and then check again under “Your Activity,” because that’s the navigation path Instagram is using this year.
