In this video, I’m sharing my real 1-year long-term review of the Orient Electric BLDC fan (1200mm). After using it daily through proper Indian summer and winter conditions, I focused on the stuff that actually matters in a home: electricity bill impact, noise levels, airflow, and whether the remote still works properly after months of use. A lot of people buy BLDC fans for the “5-star” tag, but I wanted to see if the savings are real in day-to-day usage. I tested the fan’s power draw at full speed and it stays around 28W to 35W, which is a big drop compared to a normal 75W induction fan. Because of that low wattage, inverter backup also becomes noticeably better during power cuts—basically you can expect around 2x longer backup versus standard fans. I also checked for common long-term issues like motor heating, humming, wobbling, and remote lag, and after one year the motor stayed quiet and stable, with good airflow for medium rooms (around 100–150 sq. ft.). If you’re planning to switch to BLDC in 2026, this is the kind of practical “real user” check you should watch before spending extra.
