In this video, I show you how to add new languages to your AI voice assistant on mobile—so you can talk naturally in your own language instead of forcing English every time. I walk you through the universal path most people miss: open your assistant settings (either inside the AI app using your profile icon, or from phone Settings > Google > Settings for Google apps > Search, Assistant & Voice), then go to Google Assistant and open Languages. From there you can add a second language like Telugu, Hindi, Spanish, French, and more. After adding the language, I also explain the part that improves speed and accuracy: downloading Offline Speech Recognition for that language pack. This helps a lot when the assistant feels slow or struggles with regional accents. Finally, I restart and test using the wake word (like “Hey Google”) and show how to set your primary language by moving it to the top—or enable bilingual mode so you can switch between two languages without changing settings again. If you’re seeing “Language Not Supported” after an update, these same steps usually fix it.
