In this video, I show you how to add or change engine oil in your bike at home, step-by-step, without going to a mechanic. I start with a simple but important tip: warm up the engine for 2–3 minutes so the oil becomes thin and drains properly. Then I show where the drain bolt usually sits (bottom of the engine), how to place the drain pan, and how to let the old black oil drain fully. I also talk about cleaning the drain bolt and washer, because that small step helps avoid leaks later. After that, I explain the refill process: locate the oil filler cap, use a funnel, and pour the recommended quantity and grade as per your bike manual (like 10W-30 or 20W-40). In my case, I used Motul 900 ml oil and demonstrated it on an SP 125. Finally, I show how to check the oil level using the dipstick or sight glass so it sits between Min and Max. The main takeaway is simple: regular oil changes improve smoothness, reduce overheating, and help your engine last longer—plus you save money by doing it yourself in about 15 minutes.
