In this video, I show you the exact step-by-step way to find a lost Android phone using Google Find My Device. I demonstrate it like a real situation with two mobiles, so you can see how the tracking works in real time—where to go (google.com/android/find), how to sign in with the same Google account that’s on your lost phone, and how to select the correct device if you have multiple phones. Once you’re in, you can see the approximate location on the map and the phone will also get a notification. After that, I explain the three actions you can take depending on your situation. If your phone is lost inside the house and it’s on silent, I use “Play Sound” to make it ring at full volume for 5 minutes. If you think it’s outside or someone picked it up, I show “Secure Device” to lock it and add a recovery message/number on the lock screen.
