In this video I show you the exact 4K 60fps setup I use on the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to get smooth motion and clean, “YouTube studio” looking footage—especially outdoors. I start from the basics: set your resolution to 4K (3840×2160) at 60fps, because it gives you sharp detail and also lets you slow the footage down to around 40% in editing for super-smooth slow motion without it looking choppy. Then I walk you through the settings that actually make the quality: I use 10-bit D-Log M when I want maximum dynamic range and proper color grading, or HLG when I want quick HDR-style results without heavy work. For motion blur, I follow the 180-degree rule—at 60fps I lock shutter at 1/120 and use ND filters so the video doesn’t look harsh or “stuttery.” I also switch white balance to manual (around 5500K in daylight) to avoid those annoying color shifts, set a sensible max ISO (400 daylight, up to 1600 low light), and pick the right focus mode—Product Showcase for reviews, AF-C for vlogging.
